These Terms and Conditions govern your use of arpanmitrasangam.org (the “Website”), operated by Arpan Mitra Sangam, a charitable society registered with the Govt. of NCT of Delhi (Reg. No. S/1913/Distt.South/2015) (“the Society”, “we”, “us”).
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
About the Website
The Website shares information about the Society’s work in free basic education, school admission support and computer learning for underprivileged children, and lets you contact us, volunteer, subscribe to updates and enquire about donations. The content is for general information only and may change without notice.
Donations
- Donations to the Society are voluntary and are used for its charitable objectives, such as running classes, learning material, admission support and the computer learning centre.
- The “Donate Now” form on the Website records your intent only. No money is collected on the Website. Donations are made directly to the Society’s official bank account or UPI ID, which we share with you.
- Please donate only to the account details shared by the Society through its official channels, and check them before transferring. The Society is not responsible for payments made to any other account.
- Where you choose a cause, we try to apply your donation to it. If funds for that cause exceed its needs, we may use them where they are needed most.
- Donation receipts are issued on request. Tax-exemption receipts are issued only where applicable under the Society’s registration status at the time of the donation.
Donation refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you made a donation in error, for example a duplicate payment or a wrong amount, please contact us within 7 days with the transaction details at connect@arpanmitrasangam.org. We will review the request and, if approved, refund it to the original account. Refunds are not possible once a donation receipt has been used for a tax claim.
Volunteering
Submitting a volunteering request does not guarantee a role. The Society may ask for identity details or references and may accept or decline any request at its discretion, especially to keep the children in our care safe. Volunteers must follow the Society’s code of conduct and child-safety guidelines.
Acceptable use
When using the Website, you agree not to:
- submit false information or impersonate another person or organisation;
- send spam, abusive or unlawful content through our forms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, damage or disrupt the Website;
- copy or misuse photographs of children published on the Website, or use them in any way that could harm or identify them;
- use the Society’s name or logo to collect money or for any purpose without written permission.
Copyright and trademarks
All content on the Website, including text, photographs, the logo and design, belongs to the Society or is used with permission, and is protected by Indian copyright law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with credit to Arpan Mitra Sangam. Any other use needs our prior written permission.
Accuracy of information
We try to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or outdated information. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors or viruses.
Third-party links and services
The Website links to and uses services provided by others, such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Society, its members, volunteers and website partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or any linked site. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Website is to stop using it.

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
