Highlights of our work
From our first classroom to every child we help into school, our work is built on three simple commitments.
Registered & Accountable
Officially registered with the Delhi Government as a charitable society since 2015.
Completely Free
No fees, ever. Children from the poorest families learn without any cost to their parents.
Classroom to School
We don't stop at basic lessons — we help every child secure admission in a nearby school.
Year Founded
Started by a small circle of friends and colleagues who wanted to do more.
Years of Service
More than a decade of teaching children from Delhi's most underserved neighbourhoods.
Free Education
Every class, book and admission helping hand is offered at zero cost to families.
Transforming generosity into a child's future
Small, steady contributions keep our classroom open and help children who have never held a pencil before keep learning, all the way to school.
Where your support goes
- Rent for our learning centre
- Books, notebooks and stationery
- Teachers and school admission support
Building futures through real education
★★★★★““Our vision is to uplift underprivileged children by bridging the gap from scrap to school — bringing education to their doorstep through the establishment of schools and computer learning centres.”
Your questions answered with transparency & care
1. Who does Arpan Mitra Sangam help?
We work with children from the most disadvantaged backgrounds — many of whom would otherwise be collecting scrap — and give them free basic education.
2. Is the society officially registered?
Yes. Arpan Mitra Sangam is registered with the Delhi Government as a charitable society, Registration No. S/1913/Distt.South/2015.
3. What happens after a child completes basic classes?
We help the child and their family secure admission in a nearby school so that their education continues in the formal system.
4. How is my donation used?
Contributions pay for the rent of our learning centre, books and stationery, teaching support and — as we grow — computers for our learning centres.
5. Can I volunteer with you?
Absolutely. We welcome teachers, students and professionals who can spare a few hours. Reach out through the contact form or on social media.
