Free Basic Education
Arpan Mitra Sangam offers free basic education to the most disadvantaged children, right where they live, so that cost and distance are never a reason to stay out of school.
Daily classes cover reading, writing, arithmetic and good habits. Many of the children we teach would otherwise spend their days collecting scrap. Our classes give them a first step into learning and the confidence to ask for more.
What the programme covers

- Books, notebooks and stationery given free of cost
- Guidance for parents and follow-up on attendance
School admission support
We help every child and family through the admission process in a nearby school: preparing documents, guiding parents and following up so the child keeps a seat once enrolled.
Computer learning centres
Our vision is to set up computer learning centres so that children grow up with the digital skills the world expects.
Education at the doorstep
Classes are held close to where children live. Our learning centre in Neb Sarai Village, New Delhi, is the base for this work.
